1932 Chevy 2 Door Sedan
This car is a true classic!! Priced to move, a 1932 Chevy Confederate 5 Passenger Coupe, which is highly collectible and is in excellent condition. The current owner has had this vehicle for nearly 47 years and the vehicle went through an off the frame restoration and has been garage stored the entire time. Everything is original including the original glass and completely re-wired 6 volt electrical system. It could use a new fuel tank ($229) and a new battery ($100).
This is a very straight and solid car, which is powered by the "Stove-bolt Six" 194 cu in (3,180 cc) six-cylinder engine, believed to be original to the car. It has a three-speed synchro-mesh transmission and a "Free Wheeling" mode called Wizard Control, which permits the car to coast when the driver's foot is lifted from the accelerator. The electrical system is 6 volt negative ground with dual horns and a single barrel carburetor.
It's a vivid two-tone classic. The maroon body and black fenders with black roof is a distinct and sophisticated style that will get this Chevy noticed. It has a glossy finish that was part of this car's comprehensive restoration. The body panels align with care; the chrome and stainless look great and includes the spare mounted to the rear. Speaking of the wheels, the straw color is bright enough to draw extra attention to the classic wire construction and cool Chevrolet center caps.
Butterfly hoods are always fun to open from either side and just like the rest of the car, the engine bay impresses with its tidy and correct appearance. This car is tailor made for an ideal classic driver that wants to drive to the shows and parades. This Chevrolet Confederate is the classic machine for those who want to truly experience the era.
