Vehicle Description
Ford Model A coupe street hot rod original 1930 steel body TCI
frame BBC 468
Hello, you are looking at a beautiful award-winning 1930 Ford 5
window coupe street rod built on a TCI aftermarket frame. The car
body is original Henry Ford steel. Initially, this street rod was
constructed in 1988 in Missouri, then sold to a fellow in New
Mexico, then sold to a gentleman in Colorado who owned it for four
years, then sold coming here to Utah. In the time the gentleman in
Colorado enjoyed it, he did many upgrades and performance
enhancements. It has a built TH350 automatic trans, narrowed Ford 9
inch rear axle with 4;11 positraction, custom length Moser axles
with Moser bearings throughout, and disc brake conversion. Engine
(all new) fully balanced with forged crank-, beam rods, oversized
probe forged 10;1 piston's bringing the 454 block up to 468 cubic
inches. It has aluminum heads, comp cams, hydraulic roller lifters,
Mallory electronic ignition, Edelbrock Street Tunnel Ram with dual
Edelbrock 500 carbs. Shotgun intake, high volume water pump with
big belt drive. It has a new oversized aluminum radiator inside a
reproduction '32 grill. Everything in and on the engine has very
few miles on it since the completion of engine work. The TCI frame
alone was $9500, and it has independent front suspension with
coil-overs and coil-over shocks on the rear. The car has 4 whleel
disc brakes; the new front rotors are drilled, along with new pads
and master cylinder. It has a tilt steering column. There is no
power steering, power windows, or power brakes. This hot rod is a
1960's type hot rod. It drives and handles great! The frame is very
rigid and effortlessly handles the big block with no problem. It
has a Ford Mustang rack and pinion system. Guided style stainless
steel headlights enhance the look of the car. The rims are Weld
Racing alloys, Firestones on the front, Mickey Thompson meats on
the rear. The paint is original to the build and still looks very
striking. The builder did a great job on the fabrication, and it is
a clean job on the 4-inch chop. The top of the car looks excellent
with no waves. The trunk is clean and holds the new 10-gallon fuel
cell-lots of Billet, Pioneer stereo system, ice vintage-looking VDO
gauges, B&M shifter. There are no dents in the body. One of the
cool things about this nice ride is that Roth himself pinstriped
and signed the car ( you know Ed Roth, the Ratfink guy!). Since he
has long since passed away, you won't see any more of his
exceptional workaround. The Interior is cloth and vinyl, and it is
in good shape; it has a cloth bench seat, the carpet is black and
in excellent condition. This hot rod is titled as original 1930
Ford coupe. You are looking at a basic description of the car.
Please message me if you have any questions. The car is in
excellent condition and has won awards in several prestigious
shows. Over the years, people who put a lot of TLC and pride in
this car have invested lots of money, and it shows. It runs like a
champ and is an eye-catcher!. If you are looking for a super cool
street rod that gets a massive amount of attention everywhere and
is beautiful, this is the one for you!! Much time and a lot of
high-dollar quality parts went into this build. Don't miss out on
this bad boy! It is a used car and is obviously will be sold As-Is.
