Little Red Corvette, I wonder if this is what Prince was talking about. Under the LT1 installed hood is a 350 cu in. crate engine from the man himself, Joe Sherman, at Joe Sherman Racing Engines. Prior to dropping in this recently tuned motor, it was dyno tested and produced 400 hp and 420 ft. lb. of torque on the stand! All that power is sent through a Tremec TKO-600 5 speed transmission and 3.73 rear gears to deliver excellent low-end torque and great RPMs on the highway. This car has been in the Southwest most of its life prior to coming to Florida so rust is not an issue here. A complete tear down and restoration was done 10-12 years ago, and all receipts and documentation recorded. The owner of 30 years had insulation installed during the rebuild process to deflect heat from the interior to keep the cabin temps down. Recently in for service to have the rear spring bushings replaced, rear adjustable strut rods installed, intake, oil pan, and valve cover gaskets all resealed, and carburetor tuned and adjusted. This car is ready for the road, top down, wind in the hair, worries left behind!
