We're looking at a front engined, high roof, 4WD pickup with a drop side bed and a super-compact footprint. Tools don't come much more useful, nor much cooler. Steelies, white paint, and windy windows round out the utilitarian vibe, and the thrummy little triple under your seat should be lots of fun with 4 gears to row.
This 1990 Mitsubishi Mighty Minicab has had only two owners; its original Japanese custodian and me. It's 550cc, 3G83 engine, packs a punch and is great for zipping around in.
The bed is 6’4″ long and the truck is rated for a maximum payload of 800 lb. A square-tube bulkhead guard is mounted at the rear of the cab.
The exterior remains nice, while showing just enough wear to make it fully usable as intended. Some of our favorite details are the rad 4WD printed mud flaps, locked tool box which doubles great as a cooler and the MIGHTY tailgate decal. A shift lever between the seats selects rear- or 4-wheel drive, with an additional 4-low range.
Mechanically, the truck is an easy-starting, strong-running engine. The odometer records 62,000km and change kilometers, or roughly 38000 miles, and has been certified as accurate by a third party. Recent work included an oil change performed on 7/4/21, just prior to the truck arriving in California on 8/20/21.I am including an owner’s manual in addition to a copy of the Japanese export certificate with a certified translation, plus documents from US Customs, EPA, and DOT.
A PDF factory service manual translated to English ($120.00 value) will be included in the purchase
