Vehicle Description
This 1946 Ford Deluxe Coupe is a thoughtful custom build that
includes a stylish color combo, a comfy leather interior, an
upgraded suspension, an overdrive transmission, and fuel-injected
LT1 V8 power. It makes for the kind of classic you're going to want
to drive everywhere because it's not only comfortable, but it
really knows how to grab attention.
The Light Ivory paint has the look of porcelain, and that hind of
preciousness is fitting for a car nicknamed Queenie. There has been
nearly $25k invested in this car since 2015. It wasn't about
completing this custom car, but instead, it took an already
finished custom and made it even better. So you'll find a detailed
build with good panels, nice weather-stripping, and bright chrome.
And this one appreciates the little things. For example, the grille
is correctly detailed in red, but they also added red full-length
trim and rear pinstriping for a uniform total package. And those
15-inch Center Line wheels have been painted to match the body, so
people may just notice the style before they notice the substance
of just how extra meaty the rear tires are. Blue-dot taillights,
tinted windows, wide exhaust tips are all part of a well-done
package that show off just the right amount of street machine
style.
The cream interior continues the white color theme. This upgrade
adds extra comfort but doesn't lose the vintage look. For example,
you have classic-style bench seats, but they are now covered in
supple leather. And the side panels are even done to match. Chrome
accents, quality carpeting, a taut headliner, and a smooth
color-matched dash all make for an inviting feeling inside. This
also has plenty of upgrades like power windows, a cup holder center
console, upgraded speakers w/subwoofer, and a wood-rimmed steering
wheel on a tilt column. You also have provisions for an AM/FM/CD
stereo w/USB and R134a air conditioning - they will currently need
servicing to full function again.
The engine bay continues the car's thoughtful style. The
color-matched engine covers subtly announce you have Corvette power
under the hood. Plus, the intake and valve covers have the same
chrome with red streaks as the exterior brightwork. It's all easy
to see because the mirror-like firewall doubles the shine of all
the polished components. As the engine cover suggests, this classic
Ford now has a 5.7-liter Chevrolet LT1 V8. The fuel injection means
this motor fires up eagerly, and the headers give added power and a
subtly sweet tune to the dual exhaust. The way this one runs and
sounds makes you feel like it can be an all-day cruiser. That's why
you also have good driver features like a four-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive and an aluminum radiator to help keep
it all cool. You also have traction bars in the rear, power
steering, and power brakes w/discs up front. And the upgraded
Mustang II-style front end was just installed in 2020.
It all makes an impressive total package that combines power,
comfort, and vintage appeal. Don't miss this deal, call today!
