Vehicle Description
This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 hardtop is a terrific mix of powerful and
premium. After all, you have detailed paint and an A/C interior.
But there's also enhanced V8 power, four-on-the-floor, and that
awesome stance. It all makes for the coupe that already has all the
investments you really love.
Maroon is an ideal color for this setup because it has the
aggressiveness of red, but with a deeper and more sophisticated
tone. It's a quality application that loves to show off this car's
sporty nature in thoughtful ways. For example, the good gloss lets
the light show off the big flares in the fenders. The white
pinstriping outlines the power bulges in the hood and gives the
trunk a unique set of racing stripes. And the blackout grille goes
well with the black vinyl roof. Olds gave these a ton of style in
'69, like the trim line that starts at the headlights and
highlights all the great curves of the Holiday Hardtop's sheet
metal. Plus, we know you love the way the trunk, taillights, and
rear bumper are all part of one interwoven design. But the piece
that you will probably notice most about the rear is the wheels.
You have the classic Super Stock style setup, except now the rear
ones are a custom piece that allows for some seriously meaty rear
tires and an awesome stance.
The interior was also given all the right investments on this
classic. The handsome buckets have a nice intricate pattern and
plenty of comfortable bolstering to perfectly deliver the 442's
dual luxury and performance personality. The burled walnut applique
on the dash adds to the vintage upscale feeling. Plus, you have the
working Delco AM/FM radio, and the factory air conditioning is
blowing cold with R134a refrigerant. And this is a great driver's
car with classic elements like the four-spoke sports steering wheel
and center console. Those are joined by upgrades like the Hurst
shifter and full AutoMeter Carbon Fiber gauge package with handy
tach.
A proper 442 means serious muscle under the hood, and this one
doesn't disappoint. The numbers matching big 400 cubic-inch V8 has
been built right with an Edelbrock 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor,
an Edelbrock dual-plane aluminum intake, and long tube headers. And
the mild cam gives this one a great muscle car feeling and growl
out of the H-pipe dual exhaust. It's a strong runner that also has
the right supporting components, like an Optima red top battery and
an aluminum radiator. Best of all, you take firm control with the
numbers matching four-speed manual transmission. This feeds a stout
12-bolt rear end with an upgraded diff cover. This one was built to
be a solid driver, that's why you have power steering, power,
brakes front discs, boxed rear trailing arms, and thick sway bars
front and rear.
Power and comfort make for an awesome car, especially on a
desirable real-deal 442. A total package like this never stays idle
for long, so don't miss out. Call today!!!
