1955 Buick Century Riviera 4 Door Hardtop The 1955 Buick Century
could be considered 'The Banker's Hot Rod' ... Having the engine of
the much larger Roadmaster, but the smaller body of the Special,
this was the fastest US production car for 0-60 and 1/4 mile time
in 1955. Having both sporty and elegant styling for its time
period, it has become a popular collectible car in our hobby. GM
styled and marketed these cars to be somewhere in-between a
Cadillac and a Chevrolet. And what a great style it is! Here we
have a beautiful car that has been very well cared for by both my
parents and a long time previous owner from the Buick Club of
America. This car has always been garage kept and has spent most of
its years as a car show and weekend cruiser. It started its life in
South Gate California, spent most of its years Arizona, and then
was moved here to Florida. Although this isn't a 100% 'perfect' or
a 'concourse' type of car, and has some average flaws from age and
driving, it has been shown in many car shows and has won some
trophies here and there. This would be a very nice car for all your
cruise night events, local car shows, or just own/drive for fun!
This car will be a treasure for your family to own for years to
come and a great investment too. Please Note The Following
