GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this iconic, 1959 Porsche 356
A 1600 Super Coupe to the world stage. The Porsche 356 layout was
none other than a nothing-wasted design with top-notch workmanship
and outstanding road manners. This blue print for Porsche turned
into instant sports car success from the pre-production models
through 1965 when production ended for the 356. The car was
configured in a closed coupe as well as a few different styles of
open cars. The evolution of the 356 was more in performance and
functionality rather than superficial styling changes.
The 356 A Super Coupe has been owned by the same owner for the last
25 years. According to the owner it is believed to be original
miles. The owner had it restored 10 years ago. Some receipts come
with the sale showing a few things done to the car over the years.
It is finished in its factory color Meissen Blue over a Tan
interior that is very neat, tidy and presentable. The car starts
easy, idles smooth, and accelerates properly.
The Porsche 356 is one of the most endeared vehicles ever made. The
car has huge global demand and values continue to rise. They have
reached icon states while remaining very driver friendly and
usable. When it comes to investing in cars, quality and originality
matters. The car offered here, while not freshly restored, is a
great, usable example.
Gr Auto Gallery, LLC and our sister company, Wheelz Sales and
