This custom Resto-Mod 1970 Ford Mustang fastback had a
nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration completed March 2021 by Barn
Find Classic Cars in Springfield, MO. Has 970 miles since
completion in March. Documented restoration receipts totaling
$105,000. Car is non-matching-numbers and features a rebuilt 351ci
Windsor V8 engine with all-new components, including intake and
exhaust manifolds as well a new exhaust system. Other new parts
include a Holley 650 4-barrel carburetor, alternator, valve covers,
belts, hoses, breather, evaporator coil, chrome air conditioning
compressor, motor mounts and chrome spring tower cross-brace. To go
with the engine package is a T5 5-speed manual transmission with
custom transmission support member and a Hurst short-throw shifter.
The chassis includes rebuilt 9-inch rear differential and chassis
with 4-link rear coilovers, 1-inch drop-front sport coil springs,
new front suspension including tie rods, idler arms, control arm
assembly, power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, new clutch and
brake pedal assembly. The body includes new metal throughout the
entire car (minus the sports roof) and is painted Ford tri-coat
white with pearl metal flake, with a custom vinyl stripe kit, front
valance, custom hidden front turn signals, rear window louvers,
hood scoop, LED halo headlights, custom front grille, sport side
mirrors, color-matched front, and rear fenders with custom tucked
fit with new custom-painted black exterior trim. The interior
includes Classic Auto air conditioning with chrome compressor,
Dakota Digital gauges, Painless wiring system, custom white seats
and dash, black tweed carpet, Ford black tweed floor and trunk
mats, headliner, visors, door hardware, door panels, new fold-down
rear seat assembly, new glass throughout and Kenwood Bluetooth
stereo with matching 5-inch door speakers, rear 6x9 speakers,
8-inch subwoofer and amp located in the trunk. Beautiful in its own
one-of-a-kind way, this car has great lines and a custom look for
