Vehicle Description
This 4x4 1969 Ford Bronco is a half-cab pickup model that underwent
a frame-off rotisserie restoration in 2019. The Bronco was
refinished in Sky View Blue with a Wimbledon White top over a white
interior, and the factory inline-6 was replaced with an overbored
302ci V8 paired with a 3-speed manual transmission and a Dana 20
dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes a Vintage
Air climate-control system, power steering, WARN locking front
hubs, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, a
Dana 30 front axle, a Ford 9-inch rear axle, and an American
Autowire replacement wiring harness. Originally finished in
Cordovan, this example was refinished in Sky View Blue with a
Wimbledon White half-cab roof during the 2019 refurbishment.
According to the seller, the truck was disassembled, the frame was
blasted and powder-coated black, and the body was stripped for
metal repairs before being coated in epoxy primer and painted. A
replacement windshield, rear window, weatherstripping and window
seals were also fitted.15-inch steel wheels are finished in
matching white and wear full hubcaps and Power King Extra Traction
tires. As part of the 2019 refurbishment, power steering was added,
WARN front locking hubs were installed, and the suspension was
outfitted with replacement rear leaf springs and shocks all around.
The braking system was overhauled with replacement drums and shoes,
wheel cylinders, hoses, parking brake cables and a master cylinder.
The cabin is trimmed in white vinyl with cream seat inserts, a
black dash pad and a black rubber floor mat. The interior
refurbishment included rebuilding the steering column and replacing
the black seat belts, the wiper motor cover and the sun visors.
Additional equipment includes an insulated headliner, a Vintage Air
climate-control system with under-dash vents, a replacement
T-handle transfer case shifter and an American Autowire wiring
harness utilizing a Bussman fuse panel mounted inside the glove
box. Factory instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer
surrounded by gauges for alternator charge, fuel level, coolant
temperature and oil pressure. The factory 170ci inline-6 was
replaced by a 302ci V8 during the 2019 build. According to the
seller, the engine was bored .030 over and fitted with
hypereutectic pistons, Clevite bearings, a Cloyes timing set,
bronze valve guides and COMP Cams valve springs, retainers, seals,
locks and roller-tip rocker arms. An Edelbrock intake manifold is
topped with a Holley 600-cfm 4-barrel carburetor, and a FlowKooler
water pump is fitted. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels
through a column-shifted 3-speed manual transmission and a Dana 20
dual-range transfer case.
