by 1%), Top Flight award, judging sheets included. Ground up
restored at a Corvette restoration shop. It was a clean car to
begin with, portions of the car are still excellent original. This
was the owner of the shop's personal car for 3 years. #s matching
motor, trans, rear and colors.
EXTERIOR: The body and paint did not look this good when it was
brand new. It is absolutely show quality. The body is excellent
with no signs of damage, no problem areas, no cracks. The gaps are
precise. Headlight and wiper doors open properly. The metal flake
is laid out evenly and the clear coat finish is polished like
glass. It looks like it's wet. In front the bumpers and grills are
in excellent condition and fit properly. It still has the weather
shields protecting the headlights. The emblems, mirrors, door
handles, correct antenna, rocker moldings all look like new. In
back the lenses, bumpers and license plate housing are excellent.
The 15x8 rally wheels are restored and the trim looks perfect.
BFGoodrich tires look like new. The door jambs are painted slick,
new sill plates. New weatherstrips and window seals.
INTERIOR: It is extremely nice inside this car. Very tidy, unabused
condition. All new carpet front to back. The dash pad is original
with no cracks. All the instruments function and look great. The
clock has quartz movement. It still has it's original Am-Fm stereo.
The center console is in excellent shape, the shifter is correct
with the reverse lockout. It also has a knob on the side to operate
the rear defroster. Tilt-telescopic with a mint deluxe steering
wheel. The interior lights work. Door panels are new. The seats are
soft genuine leather upholstery. It also has a leather armrest and
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has it's numbers matching 350-270 hp motor.
Even the carb, distributor and alternator are #s matching. It has
original manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner etc. The ignition
shielding is complete. It also has factory air conditioning, power
steering and power brakes. The entire motor compartment is restored
to factory specs. Everything is clean and proper. The vacuum lines,
fan shroud, pulleys etc are all like it left the factory.
UNDERSIDE: The front and rear independent suspension was entirely
restored to NCRS factory specs. The power steering system was
rebuilt. The brake system was restored, has disc at all 4 wheels.
Upgraded with stainless calipers, the e-brake assembly is complete.
Exhaust was replaced with correct factory type and chrome tips.
Looking up at the motor it has spotless Chevy orange paint, starter
is rebuilt. The M-21 close ratio 4-speed is vin # matching,
original to this car. Original rear end with 3.36 gears. The
chassis is all clean, detailed and painted. The floors are clean,
raw fiberglass with no damage. It has the complete spare tire
This Corvette is exceptional. Better than most vintage cars. The
fit, finish, function and integrity is impressive. When I was
buying it I thrilled. Several times I have mentioned to coworkers
how nice this car is. You don't have to take my word for it.
Multiple Corvette judges have inspected it let us know how
impressed they were by giving it top awards. That takes all the
risk out of buying this one!
