Vehicle Description
This 1946 Chevrolet Pro-Touring custom pickup is known as "Shot
Caller." This one-of-one custom creation has just enough test miles
to be enjoyed since its frame-off rotisserie restoration build. A
very high-quality professional build powered by freshly rebuilt HO
Chevrolet fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8 engine matched to a GM 4L60E
automatic with overdrive transmission and 3.73-geared Ford 9-inch
rear end. Rides on TCI front suspension with a Pete & Jakes custom
4-bar rear end and Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes. The cabin
features air conditioning, tilt steering column, complete custom
interior, AutoMeter white-faced gauges, custom show-quality
finished wood bed floor and sits on highly striking staggered
20-inch and 18-inch performance chrome Coys wheels. This build
began with the frame being sandblasted and every nut, bolt, wire,
gasket, seal, trim, glass, rubber, molding and grommet being
updated. The wiring harness is new, and wiring has been replaced,
restored, refurbished or rebuilt. Many of the components has been
properly color-keyed to match the show-quality body. The
arrow-straight, show-finish body and paint were professionally
completed. All the details were covered, including the new custom
high-end, top-quality show interior. From the custom-designed
double-barrel shotgun headlamps to the custom high-end dash gauge
cluster, all the way back to the custom LED billet surround
taillights, this custom one-of-one Chevy was built to be shown as
well as driven and enjoyed. It was designed, built and finished
with very close attention to detail. Features show-polished window
surrounds and a seamless custom-made windshield. This
no-expense-spared custom build is the result of countless hours.
