matching 283 CI V-8 engine developing 195 factory-rated horsepower.
The Impalas fun-to-drive factor is heightened by the 4-speed manual
transmission and the rare dash-mounted factory tachometer. In
addition to a power convertible top and AM radio, the Impala also
features a dual exhaust and power front disc brakes. A full-size
spare wheel/tire resides within the Impalas trunk compartment.
