Vehicle Description
1935 Chevrolet 3-Window Coupe Street Rod. A '35 Chevrolet 3-Window
coupe is pretty rare to start out with. This one is a classic "Old
School" street rod. It was built to drive. Starting in 1968, a
number of modifications have resulted in a trophy winning, well
built, comfortably drivable street rod. These modifications include
a rebuilt GM 4.3L V-6 which was matched to a GM 700R4 transmission.
Both have only 7,000 miles on them. The '56 Chevy 3.08 Positraction
rear end helps with the 25 highway MPG. The Walker radiator w/elect
fan prevents overheating. Corvair front suspension with Oldsmobile
Cutlass disc brakes and rear axle with coil over shocks (chrome)
helps the ride. Creature comforts include a full heating/air
conditioning system that works and a tilt wheel with a '58 Impala
steering wheel along with power steering and power brakes. At your
fingertips are cruise control, electric seats, windows, trunk lid
and radio antenna. The late model radio also plays CDs. Car
appearance inside and out is excellent. The interior includes tan
vinyl (looks like leather) seat surfaces, side panels, headliner.
Floor surfaces are carpeted. All trim, dash components, gauges, and
brightwork are in excellent condition. Outside, headlamps have late
model halogen headlights in chrome, chrome taillights with LED
bulbs and cowl lights have turn signals. Overall appearance is
excellent and driving performance will meet expectations! A great
street rod that was built to be comfortable and classy on the
street! The build achieved that.
