Very nice 1975 VW Variant offered by Pacific Air Cooled. The Type 3 followed the Type 1 Beetle, utilizing a low-profile version of Volkswagen's rear-engined, 4-cylinder air-cooled engine, as well as body-on-chassis construction, retaining the same wheelbase – but featuring ponton (slab sided) styling, in contrast to the Type 1's articulated fenders and running boards. VW finalized the design by 1959 with prototypes ready for testing by 1960, and in 1961 VW announced the new family as the "VW 1500" (later VW 1600) in Germany. The station wagon/estate-bodied Variant (marketed as the Squareback in the USA) followed, with the first cars produced in February 1962.
This stylish station wagon have lots of cargo space, as it have one trunk in the front, and a second trunk in the back. The flat 4 air cooled engine have it's low profile cooling system, making possible to have both the engine and a cargo compartment in the back. More space can be added when the back of the second row seat is down, making the perfect space for a surfboard or other equipment.
Cool exterior looks in the typical Brazilian Blue color, enhanced by 15" Porsche 914 design wheels, and a real vintage restored rack with epoxy paint and varnished wood slabs.
Interior features the original upholstered seats in black vinyl, showing how well kept the previous owner kept it for decades. Original stereo with cassete player.
