1966 Ford Bronco custom half cab four wheel drive. It is of near world class quality and is upgraded in almost every category. (If you don't understand the expense or desirability of these vehicles, please research them) It has 16,000 miles on the vehicle since a complete frame-off restoration, refurbishing and rebuild. The Running Gear is a low mileage intercooled inline 4BT Cummins turbo diesel engine with a rebuilt NV4500 (5) five speed manual transmission, and a newer model Ford NP205 transfer case, also rebuilt. The front end is a rebuilt Dana 44 with disk brakes and the rear end is a Ford (9) nine inch with drum brakes. There is a (2) two inch suspension lift and a (2) two inch body lift installed with dual shocks mounted on all four corners suspended by Duffy components. All wheels are the same wide width (17) seventeen inch bead lock styled aluminum wheels with LT305/65R171 (33 inch) on/off road tires. The bodywork is laser straight and the paint is exemplary inside and out. The exterior is finished in a bright silver metallic Vortex waterborne paint system color. The roof and hood are fiberglass aftermarket additions with the roof being of stock design and the hood having been modified by raising the scoop by (1) one inch to accommodate the engine height. New fender flares have been added to all wheel wells and have been painted to match the body color ,New chrome front and rear bumpers have been mounted and a chrome exhaust tip was added to complement the look. The interior is finished in a tasteful combination of charcoal silver and black with a full custom roll cage, a Flaming River aftermarket tilt steering column with a billet type steering wheel mounted and a modified dash to accommodate full instrumentation. The gauges are all matching Autometer brand and consist of odometer/speedometer, tachometer, water temperature, oil pressure, boost, pyrometer, voltmeter and fuel gauge. An aftermarket fuse panel is installed under the dash and is easily accessible. There are a number of organized toggle switches on the dash to control the accessories. The bucket type seats are from a Mazda RX7 and have been reupholstered in gray and black. A Vintage Air air conditioning system cools the cab. (There is not currently a stereo system installed but the stock mounting location remains). The unpainted surfaces within the cab are all coated with the same textured Linex material that was sprayed in the bed. All new weather stripping has been installed and almost every inch of this vehicle has had refinishing in one way or another. The engine compartment has had extensive boxed metal fabrication. The engine has a modified oil pan, a custom made intake manifold with Wild Horses aluminum intake boots while the balance of the engine compartment is fully detailed and finished with features and custom accessories. (refer to pictures) In addition to the its attention attracting good looks, the vehicle performs extremely well with substantial power and excellent torque. It is quick, strong and reliable. Overall, it is the best Bronco that I have ever seen. I hope that you agree.
