The 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS was an impressive car that brought
together a mean blackout style, V8 power, and full-size luxury.
This restomod started with that successful combo and made big
investments to take it all to the extreme. That means slick paint,
a custom interior with an awesome sound system, and a supercharged
LSA motor that brings even more power to the streets.
This generation Impala SS was only available for a few short years,
and so that makes them special. But this one wants to make sure
it's memorable even in a crowd from contemporaries. That's why it
will be hard to find one with a brighter shine. We have a receipt
from 2019 showing $8k invested in a respray, and there's less than
6,400 miles on the custom build. So the black looks fresh and deep
like a grand piano. And that high-gloss shine joins the good body
panels to really highlight just how sleek Chevy's Caprice body got
when it went over to the dark side. And those 24-inch wheels add to
both the aggression and the shine. Take note of the orange calipers
that they put on display. It not only signals the brake upgrade,
but it's part of a well-coordinated accenting you'll see throughout
the car. Plus, the clear headlights, tinted window, smoked
headlights, and LSA badging are all extra hints at the full
upgraded nature of this build.
The interior continues the theme of well-integrated upgrades. For
example, the driver's seat has the same wide cushioning that makes
these Impalas so comfortable, but the upholstery now has a custom
suede-like insert. The diamond-stitch pattern looks like it belongs
in a Bentley, and the orange even returns for a tastefully
aggressive accenting. The armrest, side panels, and back seat have
all been done to match, too. And speaking of the back, the size of
the Impala means adult-size room for one of the most practical
customs around. This comes loaded with a ton of factory features,
like power front seats, power windows, power locks, keyless
entry/alarm, dual airbags, anti-lock brakes, and cold-blowing air
conditioning. Plus, we know you've spotted the upgraded
AM/FM/XM/DVD stereo. The touchscreen runs desirable features like
satellite navigation and Bluetooth. And this is your gateway to the
full speaker system that includes an awesome custom trunk enclosure
that showcases the JL audio subwoofers.
As cool as everything else is, it's what's under the hood that will
make you need to get this Impala in your life. These were born with
the Corvette's LT1 motor, which was an awesome powerplant for its
time. But a quarter-century of progress means a big investment can
also get you big horsepower. So this one has a modern Chevy
juggernaut: the 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8. It has been further
upgraded with a BTR stage 3 cam, Lingenfelter blower pulley, and
headers. The full package is said to make about 600 horsepower,
which is 130 percent more than stock! There are Borla mufflers to
give a great tone to the dual exhaust, and any time you really want
to bring the thunder, this also has electric cutouts. The 4L80E
four-speed automatic transmission is a more modern unit built to
take LS-based power, and it also gives you comfortable overdrive.
In fact, the full package is built to be both extra competent and
comfortable. You have Belltech suspension upgrades, power steering,
a limited-slip rear end, and Wilwood four-wheel power disc
brakes.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and a car cover.
This custom takes everything you like about the Impala SS and
delivers more of the features you absolutely love. So you know this
is a fleeting opportunity at something truly special. Call
