Vehicle Description
CPR Classic is delighted to offer this lovely 1986 Porsche 930
finished in Black over a Black full leather interior. Completely
matching numbers, this 930 retains its original engine, gearbox,
and factory options set.
This car was delivered new in California and spent the first 17
years of its life in Yorba Linda until it was sold to an owner in
Newport Beach in 2003. The car remained in the Newport Beach area
until 2011, when it was purchased by CPR. Upon arrival to us in
2011, the car received a complete service and was then sold to a
long-time CPR client who lived locally in San Diego. In 2016, the
owner and this 930 retired and moved to Pensacola, Florida. The car
has spent the past 5 years in Pensacola, being driven sparingly and
stored in a climate-controlled garage for the entirety of its stay.
It now shows just over 51,000 miles.
The car's paint meters as original, aside from the hood, which was
repainted at some point, likely due to rock chips. Upon arrival, we
performed a full paint correction to remove light scratches and
imperfections that occurred over the last decade. The interior in
the car is original aside from the dash, which we restored in 2011.
The carpet, seats, door panels, and headliner are all in excellent
preserved condition with limited stretching and no tears or
significant imperfections.
The car was optioned from the factory as follows:
018 - Steering wheel with elevated hub
158 - Cassette-radio Blaupunkt Monterey
383 - Sports seat, left, electrical height adjustment
387 - Sports seat, right, electrical height adjustment
533 - Alarm
650- Sun-moon-roof
900- Accession of the car at the factory / Export car with
catalytic converter
Porsche 930s are a staple of the air-cooled range of Porsche 911s.
The cars offer a remarkable period aesthetic, outstanding
performance for the timeframe, and an all-around thrill to drive,
especially when on the boost! This is a must-consider car if you
are in the market for a beautiful 930 that is sorted and ready to
be driven and enjoyed regularly.
