Vehicle Description
Two-tone-style, upgraded small block power, four-on-the-floor, and
unique details for an awesome cruiser are all that make this
restored 1970 Chevrolet C10 such a great total package. So it's
time to drive with confidence and arrive in style with this classic
pickup.
Minty green and white is a great two-tone that looks good on a
classic truck. But you can also see there's much more going on
here. The white has a vibrant look and the green has a metallic
element that loves the sunshine. So you know it's a more modern
application. This lets people know that this truck has been given a
quality restoration. There are good brightwork details, like chrome
bumpers, dual exhaust tips, and Rally wheels. Plus, the full-length
trim highlights the straightness of the sheet metal, and at the
same time, it also provides a distinct separating line for the
two-tone. The long bed was great for a workman attitude back in the
day, but now we love it because it gives you the space to show off
even more of that glossy real lumber. There's even a Chevy box tie
stamped in the bed to really make this a showpiece.
The interior has a great custom style in all the right places. It
starts with how the green and white theme continues inside. But
they used a darker green in places like the carpeting, door
armrests, and cloth seat inserts so they would show less dirt from
use. And speaking of the seats, these are a terrific upgrade to
high-back buckets with a center console in-between. You'll
appreciate other upgrades like a sports steering wheel, cup
holders, and a retro-style AM/FM stereo with aux input and a CD
changer in the center console. And because this is a true classic
pickup, you have a sliding rear window to let the breezes flow
through the cab the old-school way.
Under the hood is a good-looking 350 cubic-inch V8. Not only is the
block an update late in life, but it also has been upgraded with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Chevrolet cast
valve covers, and plenty of polished components. The motor fires up
eagerly, idles nicely, and makes a sweet rumble from the dual
exhaust. The four-speed manual transmission has that classic truck
feel with plenty of torque in first gear, and proper control
through the rest of the gears. You also have power steering, the
C10's trailing arm rear suspension, and front, power, disc
brakes.
The sale comes complete with restoration photos and maintenance
records. You're looking at a sharp, fun, and solid-driving Chevy.
