1980 MERCEDES BENZ G230
This 1980 Mercedes Benz G230 (Chassis: 46023117003437) was originally a yellow over a black-plaid example that was converted into a fire/ambulance support vehicle in its native country of Germany, and though actually assembled by Puch, these trucks are much more commonly marketed as Mercedes-Benz G-Wagens. This truck is equipped with a 2.3-liter gasoline four-cylinder rated at 125 HP and 141 lb. ft. The 2.3 liter M102 is a simple gas four-cylinder displacing 2.3 liters, just as the truck’s model name suggests it would. Power is shuffled around a 5-speed main gearbox and low/high range transfer case with 4WD.
Inside, tartan cloth covers the seats and door panels, and the floor looks to be protected by rubberized liners. The manual gearshift and transfer case levers sprout prominently from the center console area, and the odometer displays 21k miles. The exterior panels show to be straight with no signs of major accidents. As shown in the pictures, the right side of the rear bumper is defective due to a mishap that occurred moving the cars around inside our warehouse. Other than that, the body shows no signs of accidents or major repairs.
