Powering the Reatta was General Motors "Buick 3800" 3.8L V6 which was transversely mounted and paired with a smooth shifting automatic transmission. This example appears to have a custom exhaust which makes for a more aggressive exhaust note. The motor fires right up and enjoys to be driven.

This example is finished in a clean black exterior over a burgundy leather interior. It rides on aftermarket Voxx wheels that add a bit of pop to the sleek exterior body lines. A unique feature of the Reatta is the touch screen located in the dashboard that controls the radio, trip computer, and other various functions. While it is not as technologically advanced as current infotainment systems such as Apple CarPlay, it does function well. Other highlights of the Reatta include a fully independent suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS, and front wheel drive. This example comes with a thick folder of maintenance receipts and original documentation.

The Reatta was the first Buick to be advertised as a two-seater since the Model 46 in 1940! It was a handmade luxury sports coupe produced in Lansing, MI from 1988-1991. It sported its own unique body style and was crafted with an attention to hand finishing uncommon for a mass-produced automobile. The assembly was performed at a small series of craft stations, each with a specialized team of workers, rather than a conventional assembly line. After a team had completed their portion of the assembly, the car would be moved by robots to the next station in the series.
