1970 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA TI 1300
This 1970 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300 TI (Chassis: AR1081140) is a clean and sorted driver powered by a swapped 1600cc twin-cam inline-four paired to a 5-speed manual. The car was imported to the US from Greece by the previous seller, a vintage car enthusiast and BaT regular. Maintenance performed during previous ownership includes a rewiring of the electrics to make the driving lights functional, installation of lowering springs, and the fitment of GTA-style wheels. Apart from a couple of small bubbles noted, the car is said to remain rust and accident-free with good cosmetics.
The older repaint is holding up well, retaining a uniform shine when viewed from various angles, though there are a small handful of imperfections that can be seen while looking closely at the paint. The car is fitted with a set of 14″ GTA replica wheels and Rugh springs that have been installed by the seller for a slightly lower stance and improved handling.
The interior presents nicely and is said to be all original apart from re-upholstered front seat bottoms. The rubber floor mats, dash, instruments, switchgear, and even the factory radio all remain well-preserved and show minimal wear. All interior electrics and other accessories including lights, instruments, clock, and heater controls remain fully operational. The odometer has rolled once and shows under 113k kilometers (~70k miles).
With a 1600cc swap performed early in its life, the extra 300cc of displacement makes for a noticeable power upgrade while keeping a similar look, sound, and feel to stock. Additional work recently performed includes a new battery, new water pump and hoses, radiator flush, and adding an electric fuel pump.
