1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback. I want to start off by being straight up and telling you everything I know about this car. Let me start by saying this car is very nice and would probably cause a few wrecks from people looking at you while going down the road , but it is not perfect. There are always a few things that could be improved. These old fastback mustangs are going up in value every day and are getting harder and harder to find. If you want one ready to drive, here it is. Prior to my purchase, the builder installed New Radiator Support, Battery Tray, Fenders, Doors, Hood, Roof skin, Lower Rear Quarters, Taillight Panel, Trunk Lid, Front and Rear Valance. Bumper Brackets and areas of the truck floor. All the rust was cut out of this car and there is no body filler. The paint job is nice and shines like a mirror. There are a few blemishes that are not noticeable at first look but found if you look closely to find them. The Exhaust Trumpets are new. The Bumpers are new. The trim around the doors and glass are original. All glass except the windshield is original. The Door Felts, Trunk Gasket, Firewall Gasket, Hood Bumpers are all new. The interior is new. New Carpet, Dash Pad, Seat Covers, Instrument Cluster Cover, Wood Grain Steering Wheel, Rear View Mirror, Head Liner, Sun Visor, Sun Visor Rods, Headliner Rubber, Kick Panels, Seal Plates, and Seat Belts. All Under Dash and Dash Lights work. The Heater Box was completely rebuilt. The Motor has 900 miles on it. The engine is 4.7L 4727CC 289 Cu. In. 2 bbl V8 Gas OHV Naturally Aspirated. The whole Drum Brake system is new. Every Line, Wheel, and Master Cylinder is new. The Gas Tank sending unit, Fuel Pump and Carburetor is all new. The Starter, Alternator, Coil. and Starter Solenoid is all new. The Transmission lines are new. The Exhaust is new from front to back. New Wiring Harness front to back. The Belt and Radiator is new. Even the Cigarette and Hazzard blinkers work. Every Light, Blinker, and Gauge works. It is very hard to find a car that everything words, but this one does. The Front End was completely rebuilt. It has New Shocks on it. It has new Motor Mounts. It has a nice set of Chrome Wheels and White Letter tires on it.
In the spirit of full disclosure, I purchased this car 5 years ago and it has been garaged the entire time.. The above description is from when I purchased it. The car has been driven 600 miles in 5 years. Mostly around the neighborhood and several car shows. I have not taken any long trips. It has earned a few trophies and plaques along the way. It is time to move it on to someone who would appreciate it and take good care of it.
