1962 Chevy Impala 2-dr. hardtop 409. Car originally came from California with zero rust. The body shop that painted the car commented that they had never seen a total rust-free 1962 like this. This is not a numbers matching 409. No expenses spared. Body off restoration just completed. Following parts all new: aluminum radiator, March performance Billet aluminum serpentine belt conversion clear powder coat, 140 amps. alternator, water pump, A/C pump, power steering pump, 17" 2400 CMF electric fan and stainless steel shroud, complete rebuilt 409 cu. inch motor with 2 new Edelbrock 650 carbs., Wilwood master cylinders, power brake booster, complete sub A Frames from Fat Man, TKO Tremac 5-speed transmission with Bell housing pressure plate and clutch. Drive shaft and cross member support, rear end completely rebuilt with 373 gears, new gas tank and sending unit. E-brake linkage. INTERIOR: All new interior including the headliner, Dakota digital dash, Ididit tilt polished steering column with after market steering wheel, vintage air with distribution panel all painted the same exterior as the car. New LED lights added, Sony AM/FM sound system. EXTERIOR: Body is all laser straight, gaps are precision fit, the paint is 2004/2006 Jaguar seafoam, numerous coats of base with many coats of clear applied. All stainless steel window trim is straight and polished; the jams are all painted to match the exterior of the car. Polished aluminum wheels are by American Racing with Firestone tires, P225/70 R15's in the front, P235/70 R15's in the rear. NOTE: the gas filler has been moved from the side of the car to the top side of the fender with a modern pop-up filler cap. TRUNK: splatter finish paint with all new weather stripping.
