Lot #428- 1938 Ford 4-Door Sedan-According to the seller, this Ford was treated to a frame up complete restoration not so long ago, and comes with the book detailing the work, along with all of the recent service records. Cared for extremely well by a German gentleman, it received great care at the hands of Avenue Imports In West Palm Beach, Florida, and all of their invoices come with the purchase. A wonderful rebuilt T5 transmission was installed, and 1940 Hydraulic brakes were installed as well. Wide white tires by Coker were mounted , and any little thing that attracted the owners attention was dealt with by Avenue Imports. This is a perfect tour car, or to be used as a wedding car, brides like the ease of getting in and out of the rear hinged back seating area! Finished in a handsome maroon with grey cloth seating and carpets, with the banjo steering wheel, this Ford is a pleasure to drive.
