Stunning Saphire Blue 1965 Oldsmobile Starfire hardtop powered by
its original 425 c.i. Rocket Ultra High Compression powerplant and
Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Nicely equipped with
power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. This rare rocket
had the same owner for more than 50 years and was driven, enjoyed
then restored with great care. The paint is smooth as glass and
covers a body with amazing metal structure. The chrome bumpers and
grill are original and in good condition and the rest of the
original stainless is nice but is showing some small pitting in the
hard to find trim pieces. The interior is impeccable with all new
upholstery on the factory bucket seats and also equipped with
center console with tach, Wonder Bar radio and power windows. The
dash is a work of art with lots of chrome and beautiful round
gauges. The engine compartment is highly detailed and looks as the
factory delivered it to the dealer. The front and rear suspension
has been rebuilt for a smooth ride. The dual exhaust exits through
the rear side trim and is very unique and really adds to the luxury
sports sedan theme that Oldsmobile was shooting for. New radial
tires and factory chrome hub caps look great.
