Back in 1959, there were many versions of Chrysler products to
choose from. Styling was 'King' and this rare Plymouth is a perfect
example of a typical offering. Our beautiful 3-owner 1959 Belvedere
4-door sedan is in original condition except for an exterior
respray of Powder Blue. The current owner has the maintenance log
book (dated from 1959 to 1970) from the original owner as well as
the original bill of sale from 1959. The factory cloth/vinyl
interior exhibits only minor wear on seat surfaces/door panels and
the beautiful dashboard with gauge cluster and dash-mounted rear
view mirror is classic Chrysler. (This Belvedere was not equipped
with the optional AM radio.) Under the hood is said to be a
'Poly-Head' 318ci V8 that was rebuilt in 2017. It is fitted with
virtually all of the original components including a 2-barrel
carburetor. The transmission is Chrysler's push-button 2-speed
PowerFlite automatic that is backed by a factory differential. The
undercarriage is clean and the chassis is equipped with 4-wheel
manual drum brakes and 12-volt factory electrics w/generator.
Finally, you can't overstate the visual impact of the 14"
wide-white bias-ply tires matched with factory full wheel covers.
Take a moment and look again at the photos. This Belvedere is 1959
to perfection and it is ready for a new owner who will appreciate
the beautiful style and fine condition of this full-size Plymouth
classic. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
