Vehicle Description
This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette 283/245hp convertible comes in a
striking total package with an attractive color combination.
Completed in a Roman Red exterior with a red vinyl interior, it has
plenty of bright chrome, which makes quite an impression on the
outside. It comes with both the convertible top and hardtop.
Powered by a NOM small-block Chevrolet V8 engine with 4-speed
manual transmission, features include an original Wonder Bar AM
radio, original clock, courtesy lights and heater. Originally
assembled in St. Louis, MO, it has had a body-off restoration with
13,020 miles (the title reads mileage exempt). The convertible top
is new, and the chrome bumpers show a very good finish, as do the
exterior door handles, taillights, steel wheels and correct-style
hubcaps. The interior shows good-condition seats, door panels and
steering wheel, as well as a very good carpet. This Corvette is
also equipped with new wide whitewall bias-ply tires, period finned
valve covers with Corvette script, correct ignition shielding and
hose clamps.
