Seven Hills Motorcars is tremendously proud to offer this
absolutely stunning 1971 Buick Riviera Boattail in spectacular
condition. The car looks beautiful, runs great, and drives awesome.
This survivor Buick Boattail is a time capsule and an investment
grade classic. The car has great lines and is totally solid; one
can even see how good the car is underneath in the many photos of
the car on a lift. This is an excellent opportunity to own an
exceptional Riviera Boattail that is ready to be used and enjoyed
at an unbeatable value.
I have personally put about 25 miles on this Buick. During that
time the car was completely reliable and pleasure to drive with no
issues.
This 1971 Riviera is one of the cleanest and best examples on the
market right now. It has excellent history and has had only two
owners since new. We purchased the car from a gentleman in
Cincinnati that owned the car for forty-four year. He purchased it
from the original owner in 1977. He was a careful and thoughtful
owner that always kept the car stored indoors. He was very
meticulous and kept detailed service records that date back to
1982. They show that the engine and transmission were rebuilt less
than 7,000 miles ago.
This Buick is finished in the beautiful and highly desirable color
combination of Bamboo Cream (50) over Sandalwood (684) interior.
This is the factory original color scheme as verified by the codes
on the trim tag, which is pictured in this ad. Please peruse all of
the photos, numbers, video, and information in this ad to get a
true sense of clean, nice, and original this Buick Boattail really
is.
Throughout the entire Buick Riviera Boattail market right now, this
is one of the nicest, most desirable, and best examples available.
There is no way this car could be duplicated or restored with this
level of quality for anything near our asking price. This Riviera
looks great, runs awesome, and floats down the road. This is an
excellent opportunity to own a classic Buick that is ready to be
used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this
car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to
come as these classic Buick are appreciating fast and the market on
them is red hot right now, especially for the Boattail models.
As a side note, this Buick is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand
pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from
owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the
vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and
encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car
inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We
photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel
confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the
Riviera, just give us a call.
Exterior
The Bamboo Cream (50) exterior is in excellent condition. As one
can see in the photos, the finish has dazzling gloss, smooth
finish, and deep shine. The chrome and other bright work is in
great condition with a brilliant finish and no pitting. The vinyl
top looks very nice. The original wheels are in great condition
with a nice finish and no curb rash. The whitewall tires have 90%
tread left and are correctly sized 225/75R15. There are a few tiny
blemishes around car that were too faint to show up in pictures and
some light cracking down low, but nothing that is really noticeable
from about five or ten feet away. As one can see in the many photos
of the underside of the car it appears to be totally solid
underneath. This Buick was treated to a Ziebart undercoating and
rust proofing treatment when it was almost new, which has preserved
the underside very well. We have included specific photos of the
lower quarter panels, rockers, frame, spring perches, and other
areas most prone to rust on this generation Buick to show how clean
this car is.

Interior
The Sandalwood (684) interior of the Riviera is in outstanding
condition. The seats are in excellent shape with no excessive wear
or holes. There is some wear starting on the seem on the drivers
seat bottom, but as one can see in the photos it is not noticeable.
The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are clear. The
chrome and bright work on the inside of the car looks wonderful.
The carpet is in also in great condition with no stains, rips, or
holes. The original radio works, but sometimes takes a minute to
turn on. Most importantly, the dash has never been cut or modified
for an aftermarket installation. The power antenna works. The dash

in good shape overall. The driver's door panel is not cracked in
typical spot where the driver's elbow sits. This car has never been
smoked in; there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes at
all. This is one of the best original interiors we have ever seen
in person in a classic Buick and is a true study of how these cars
looked from the factory
GM interiors from this era are not known to wear well and the
excellent condition of this interior is a huge testament to the
meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its
life. The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the
photos.
The trunk also looks fantastic; the carpet and very fragile
original cardboard are in amazing condition. It is also totally
complete with the trunk mat, full size spare tire, jack, jack base,
bumper hook, and lug wench/jack handle.
Mechanical
This Buick Riviera seems to be in good mechanical condition and it
is ready to be enjoyed. As stated above I have recently put over 25
miles on this car with absolutely no issues. The previous owner was
conscience with maintenance and took great care of the car.
Additionally, the engine and transmission have les thank 7,000
miles on them. The 455ci engine starts right away every time, runs
well, and idles smooth. The car is an exceptional driver that feels
great on the road and floats down the highway. In the video below
one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about
70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and
going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange
noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The
brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The
transmission sh...for more information please contact the seller.
