The third generation of the CL-Class Mercedes-Benz was introduced
in 2006 and carried the line through to its production end in 2014.
After 6 years of development, this fully redesigned Coupe would
appear at the Paris Salon in 2006 with great appreciation and would
later receive a facelift in 2011 with further improvements to
include Bi-xenon headlights with LED technology, LED fog lamps,
revised grill, fenders, hood along with new exhaust pipes. Inside,
luxurious wood trim would be available in two color styles.
However, the biggest change was the powerful engine options and
abundance of the latest state-of-the-art technology! These included
Active Blind Spot Assist, Attention Assist, Active Lane Keeping
Assist, Night View Assist Plus, Distronic Plus Active Cruise
Control, Parktronic Parking Assist, Dynamic Stability Control, and
Active Body Control!
Their flagship CL models included the CL 600 utilizing the
blisteringly powerful bi-turbo V-12 engine! It produced an amazing
510 horsepower and 612 lb. ft. of torque through a robust 5-speed
automatic transmission with Touch-Shift paddle shifters! The CL 600

Tampa, Florida in October 2011 and remained with the original
leasing owner until 2014. It would stay in the Boca Raton area for
the next 4 years being exclusively serviced at Mercedes Benz of
Delray Beach, FL. This included all recommended scheduled
maintenance and system inspections. The rear crankshaft oil seal
was replaced at 29,056 miles and a new water pump installed at
35,442 miles. According to CarFax, it had one minor parking lot
incident resulting in scratches to the front bumper in 2016. It
would make its way to Braman Motorcars of West Palm Beach, FL in
February 2018 and sold to its most recent owner in May 2018 with
36,160 miles on the odometer. New Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 tires
were installed in 2017, along with a new battery in August
2021.
