This 1972 Chevrolet K10 Cheyenne Super is a 4x4 with a powerful V8,
a nice A/C interior, and it's rendered in a slick two-tone. So it's
the weekend friend that helps with the chores on Saturdays, hits
the town in the evening, and then makes the scene at the Sunday car
show: truly the vintage ride that can do it all.
The color has the classic two-tone look of olive green and white,
but it's a modern respray that was done just a few years ago. It
makes for a look that does this truck right, and there's a terrific
metallic in the green that pops when the sunshine hits it. Not only
does the paint look nice, but also the body is exceptionally
straight and the chrome bumpers are mirror-like. It's restored to a
premium Super Cheyenne time level. That means you get the cool
vintage wood-like trim running the full length of the sides and on
the tailgate insert. Of course, the best wood is reserved for the
real lumber that's on the floor of the truck bed. It really has a
detail-oriented look everywhere from the quality weather-stripping
to the classic badge on the back warning others that it has disc
brakes. So while this one is too pretty to get dirty, it also has
so much ability that we bet you're having thoughts about adding a
hitch for the coolest way to tow a classic Chris Craft or an
Airstream.
There's plenty more metallic green inside. It has the same clean
and well-invested look as the exterior. Plus, you'll love the
iconic details. You see it in everything from the houndstooth cloth
inserts on the seats to the western saddle-style embossing on the
door panels that belong on a premium Cheyenne Super setup. The dash
has a classic look, but you'll also see nicely integrated upgrades,
like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/aux input for your iPod,
and the air conditioning sliders are now part of a modern R134a
system. The upgraded sports steering wheel feels grippy in your
hands, and it's on a tilt column to give you a clear view to the
full gauge package that includes a tach.
The engine bay goes for a very sock style. Everything is tidy so
you can clearly see the bold block paint and details like the
classic Keep you GM Car All GM decal. But this is actually hiding a
secret, because this truck is really powered by a fresher 250
cubic-inch crate motor with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor on
top. So this one loves to fire up readily and run strong. The
proper raised 4x4 suspension and two-speed transfer case mean this
classic keeps going even when the pavement ends. Plus, the power
steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and power brakes
with discs up front are great any time driving features.
This is the classic 4x4 that will turn heads no matter if you're
downtown or on a country road. So it has a true all-around appeal
that you'll want to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
