Professionally built and finished to uncompromising quality
standards over a 3-year time frame, this freshly completed,
Pro-Touring 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is visually stunning in
its Lexus Indigo Ink Pearl exterior finish and custom Charcoal Gray
leather interior with TMI front seats trimmed with Medium Gray
inserts and blue contrast stitching. Upgrades include an
Ultra-Carbon hood and decklid, Fessler flush-mount glass and door
panels for an exceptionally clean presence. At its foundation, the
Chevelle rides on a Speedtech Performance extreme rail full chassis
with high-performance underpinnings. Underneath that long hood, the
Chevelle remains true to its heritage with an L86 6.2-liter V8
engine equipped with a Texas Speed cam and ported cylinder heads.
The engine delivers 457hp through a GM 8L90E 8-speed automatic
transmission and Ford 9-inch limited-slip rear end with 3.73:1
gears. A 2.5-inch stainless steel dual exhaust system features
Borla mufflers and delivers a wicked soundtrack. Wilwood disc
brakes provide anchor-like stopping power to match the healthy L86
engine. Excellent supporting features include an AutoRad custom
aluminum radiator and Rick's Hot Rod Shop fuel tank. A Dashworks
custom dashboard and tilt steering column greet the driver, and
passenger amenities include Restomod Air climate control, power
windows and a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth and USB capability that
pumps the tunes through Kicker audio speakers. The Chevelle also
features dual halo headlights and sequential LED taillights. This
custom features on a set of Forgeline ZX3 custom wheels measuring
19x10 inches up front and 20x12 inches at the rear. The wheels are
wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. This '70 Chevelle Malibu is
a recent Starbird Street Machine Top Choice award-winner.
