Combining iconic American muscle with modern performance, this
GM-documented 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is updated with
Pro-Touring features, including a supercharged 383ci stroker V8
engine. The ProCharger forced-induction engine has high-performance
parts, including Trick Flow heads. The engine is backed by a custom
Transzilla 6-speed manual transmission with a custom 4-knuckle
Hurst speed shifter. Additionally, a Detroit Speed rear mini-tub
hosts 20x10.5 rear custom wheels with 305 35/20 Mickey Thompson ET
Street Drag radial tires. The front tire and wheel combination is
18x8.5 with Mickey Thompson 245 18 front for the ultra-aggressive
Pro-Tour stance. Stopping power is provided with 4-wheel Baer
slotted and drilled big brake system. The suspension has been
customized using all the modern-day Pro-Touring components,
including Detroit Speed QUARDRALink rear suspension with coilovers,
and tubular upper and lower front control arms with adjustable
coilovers. Beautifully finished in period-correct Hugger Orange
exterior paint with a full interior restoration, including black
and white houndstooth interior with console. Additional build
specifications include Ringbrothers custom hood hinge kit, EMP
Stewart components, Painless wiring systems, custom fuel tank,
high-performance fuel pump, high-flow 4-core aluminum radiator and
electric fan, power steering with SS steering wheel, wood-trim
center console with Rally gauge package, Be Cool aluminum radiator,
ceramic-coated headers with custom-built H-pipe exhaust and
stainless-steel mufflers. Nicknamed "PRO ZED," the comprehensive
Pro-Touring restoration comes with several performance part manuals
and its authentic Z/28 GM of Canada documentation.
