This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Resto-Mod coupe was a
no-expense-spared 4-year project. It started out as a rust-free
California car and underwent a frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration.
It is powered by a rebuilt LS6 5.7-liter V8 engine that includes
Advanced Induction ported heads and a custom ground camshaft. The
exhaust flows through Kooks headers with stainless-steel 3-inch
exhaust, Hooker Aero-Chamber stainless mufflers with an X-pipe and
QTP electric exhaust cutouts. It has a new TREMEC Magnum 6-speed
manual transmission, a hydraulic clutch and a completely rebuilt
factory 1970 Z/28 12-bolt rear with 3.73 gears, posi-traction and
30-spline heavy-duty axles. It also has all-new Hotchkis suspension
with "Chassis Max" firewall bar system, proper welded-in sub-frame
connectors and Hotchkis shocks on all four corners. It is riding on
YearOne second-generation Z/28-style 17-inch wheels with BFGoodrich
G-Force tires. Brakes are hydro-boosted Wilwood with front
6-piston, 13-inch cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and rear
4-piston 12-inch cross-drilled and slotted rotors. Immaculate
interior, including Vintage Air, power windows, power door locks,
high-end stereo, navigation, Bluetooth, backup camera, heated
seats, electric e-brake and push-button start. The interior is
wrapped in special-ordered Italian leather with red stitching and a
touch of red-and-black houndstooth. It has a Nardi flat-bottom
steering wheel with a leather-wrapped dash, German square-weave
carpet, all-new VHX gauges and a new custom center console with USB
fast-charging ports.
