There's just something about a classic Mopar that makes you pay
attention, especially with this 1967 Chrysler Newport. It's a long
boulevard cruiser with a proper large V8 under the hood. And it's
all available right now for a value price.
The Crystal Blue Metallic color on this car represents it
perfectly. After all, it just looks like a premium 1960s family
cruiser. It was even resprayed later in life to look terrific in
the sunshine. Chryslers from this era were all about owning the
road with their size, and so this one is elegantly imposing. You
see it in the extra-wide grille that immediately announces this is
a full-sized machine. The extensions on the fenders look like they
just want to reach out and grab you with both arms. But the
aggression was also nicely mixed with flair. This has a terrific
style line with a defined crease in the sheet metal running the
full profile. Plus, the fender skirts mean there's another
continuous line around the rockers. The chrome bumpers neatly fit
into the car's design, and the whole package looks complete, right
down to the wheel covers.
Inside, more tones of blue add depth to a well-coordinated total
package. You'll absolutely love the look of the classic Chrysler
steering wheel. The dash was one of the best mixes of style and
info around, so we're happy to see it so well preserved. Even the
AM radio is still there for display. This is a full-sized classic,
so there's plenty of room for family and friends to spread out
across the two rows of wide benches. These have a terrific sense of
classic style with stitching and trim. It really feels like a true
time capsule, and even the cup holder center console is removable
if you need full authenticity.
Another reason why we love a good Mopar is for what's under the
hood. You have an honest-looking engine bay filled with 383
cubic-inches of big block muscle. This is not built to be a
blacktop challenger (although it would not take much to turn this
into a very cool sleeper.) Instead, this strong V8 moves with
confident and dignified authority. Plus, with a three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, and modern tires disguised
as whitewalls, this Newport knows how to provide an easy-cruising
experience.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and sales
literature. Big, imposing, and awesome-looking, this is a cool
Chrysler offered for a nice price. Call now!
