CMC is proud to have the finest 1954 Buick Skylark Available today.
This original Malibu Blue Beauty has received a no expense spared
concourse restoration to better then new standards. With only 836
Produced and being a Buick Nationals Winner and an AACA Junior and
Senior Winner, this Skylark is judged among the best in the
country.
The 1954 Buick Skylark is a milestone classic and was a one year
only design by the famous Harley Earl. The body lines and overall
design is the most dramatic and beautiful. With only 836 produced,
not many examples remain today. This particular car has had an
amazing journey and restoration started from an extremely original
and solid Skylark. Starting from one the best originals made this
car a great candidate to build the best.
The Frame off restoration was done to concourse standards. The
chassis was taken off the frame and it was fully restored and
detailed including the original chassis stamps and codes. The Solid
body was taken down to bare metal and the floor boards
and overall body was painted in the original color Malibu blue. The
body was color sanded and polished to perfection. All chrome was
triple chrome plated. Every single piece of chrome was chrome
plated to better then new standards. The interior was expertly
restored by Jenkins Interiors. All new leather, correct carpet and
door panels were installed. The Convertible top was also done by
Jenkins and the fit and finish is incredible. The entire trunk
carpet lining was expertly restored by Jenkins Interiors as well.
The original wire wheels were sent out to be restored. The center
spinner caps are the original as well and have been chrome plated.
The beautiful wire wheels are sitting on correct WWW tires. Even
the spare tire and wire wheel is restored and matching.
Mechanically everything was rebuilt as well. The engine was rebuilt
to exact original specs. The dynaflow Automatic transmission was
rebuilt as well. All hydraulics are new including pumps and lines.
The end result is a award winning Buick Skylark that runs and
drives as good as it looks.
If you are in the market for a true one of kind classic you may
want to consider this 1954 Buick Skylark. With low production
numbers, extraordinary design, and Nationally Awarded, you will not
be able to replace this one.
