Let's just say Richard Hammond was more than impressed. The Bowler
Tomcat shown here has never been used for competition. We purchased
this out of storage in Genappe, Belgium where it had sat 90%
assembled for an unknown amount of time. Then proceeded to go
through the lengthy (and documented) process of legally importing
this Bowler to the United States. Our intention was to race this
2008 Bowler Tomcat as a competition vehicle in the straight axle
Legends class. Covid occured and all racing was cancelled. The
Bowler was properly built by Tomcat Motorsports in the UK using a
Land Rover supplied new old stock frame. We spoke with the Director
of Tomcat, Paul Williamson, who verified the chassis number 100183
was built in February 2008 by his workshop. A Turner Engineering V8
was sourced and installed in this chassis. Anybody who knows Rover
V8's knows Turner Engineering builds some of the best (expensive)
engines. No expense was spared when putting this build together.
