For Sale: 1966 Ford Fairlane in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

HIGHLIGHTS: Very well done Ford Street Machine that cranks out a dyno proven 500+hp and 500+ft. Lbs of torque. Killer color combination, 4-wheel disc brakes and subframe connectors. Ready for the street or strip.

BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Fairlane is smooth, straight, and gorgeous! Restored back to original condition, no custom modifications were made to the body, short of a fiberglass hood that helps complete the pro-street theme.

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Just like the body and underside, the paint is in decent shape. The car has clearly been driven and enjoyed, as it shows your typical road rash around the nose and behind the rear tires is showing a few nicks and a couple of bubbles on the driver's side, but nothing that isn't expected on a 10-15 year old paint job. Considering what sits under the hood, you wouldn't want a flawless paintjob because this car is begging to be opened up on the open road.

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Just like the exterior, the interior is fresh with new or reconditioned original parts. The upholstery continues the gorgeous red and white theme and really makes this car stand out. Attention has been paid to every little detail inside the car.

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Lift the lightweight fiberglass hood and you'll unveil a 408 Stroker that produces 537hp at 6,000 RPMS. The car sounds incredible thanks to the borla exhaust system. CNC'd Pro Comp heads sit atop the block as well as a MSD ignition, Quick Fuel Carb, and inside you'll find a Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller cam.

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The sound, the look, the fact that it can be enjoyed.

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This car was built with the drag strip in mind. Which not everyone is going to like. So if A/C and power steering is a must have for you, then you'll have some additional expenses after you purchase this car.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Currently the horn is the only thing that isn't working. Although the tires are showing a bit of age, they don't have any dry rot showing, but it will be due for some tires soon.

WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anyone who loves V8 power, and wants something they can drive to the drag strip, compete and then drive the car home.
