While this 1963 Ford Falcon Futura hardtop is finished in its
factory-correct color combo, it's going to be a while before you
spot anything that's stock. With a fuel-injected V8, overdrive
transmission, upgraded suspension, A/C interior, and more, this is
an awesome cruiser built to be shown off near or far.
There's less than 1,400 miles on this car since it completed its
restoration. The trim tag tells us this was born a Raven Black car,
but the finish you see there today is the product of a high quality
respray where they took the time to disassemble the trim and get
the look right. It makes for an extra-smooth presentation where the
clearcoat luster looks like a black mirror in the sunshine. And the
mirror-like quality also extends to the trim and chrome bumpers.
The well-done body panels and good gaps make for the right base to
showcase the arrow-like Futura side trim that gives this coupe a
premium and sporty feel. These first-gen Falcons had an overall
good sense of speedy style with the hood scoop trim and
afterburner-like tail lights. And the upgraded 17-inch wheels give
this the stance to really bring out this sporty feeling while also
coordinating with the black paint.
The red interior looks like it's almost glowing from within against
the dark black exterior. The full package has a fresh and custom
look from a solid investment, and with the pillarless hardtop, you
get to show it off with ease. The freshness of the full restoration
means it's easy to share this one with family and friends, but you
don't need any of them to have fun. Front bucket seats, a sports
steering wheel on a tilt column, and a full set of Dolphin gauges
make for a driver's coupe. The custom center console houses the cup
holders, upgraded speakers, tach, and a Lokar shifter. There's also
cold-blowing air conditioning and a retro sound AM/FM stereo for
driving pleasure. So this one seems like the perfect classic to
roll down all the windows, get the A/C blowing, and put on your
favorite cruising music. And the rest of this package reinforces
this great driver feeling.
The engine bay has a fantastic look where the dark and smooth inner
walls funnel your attention to polished engine components of the V8
in the middle. Not only is this 302 cubic inch powerhouse a larger
displacement than anything offered in this generation, but it has
also been upgraded to Fi-Tech electronic fuel injection for added
power and consistency. It has been further enhanced with a mild
cam, dual-plane aluminum intake, HEI ignition, an aluminum
radiator, and ceramic coated headers feeding the Flowmaster dual
exhaust. This is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, and
so the full package was built to give you both speedy performance
and easy overdrive cruising. As you look underneath you'll spot a
newer tubular A-arm front end. Plus, power steering, power brakes,
front discs, and modern sport tires are all about making this
Falcon a terrific driver, too.
This is the Falcon Futura hardtop that leaves you wanting for
nothing. So the only way you'll be disappointed is if you miss this
deal. Call today!!!
