Vehicle Description
This 1987 Chevrolet Silverado has a cool custom look, awesomely
tall stance, and a fuel-injected 6.0-liter V8 w/overdrive
transmission. It all adds up to the kind of beefy truck you've
always wanted to build... and this one is ready to run right
now.
This Silverado knows how to be memorable. Of course, adding about
eight inches of lift and big Mickey Thompson Baja tires are going
to make you instantly intimidating. And that aggression gets
amplified by the bold red paint. It's a more recent upgrade, and so
it looks quite vibrant. There are more terrific upgrades, like the
tall cowl hood and the special grille given to later K5 Blazers.
And speaking of the grille, it helps kick off a dark side that's
continued on the bumpers, trim, side mirrors, and big 20-inch
wheels. There's even black liner paint in the bed for added
ruggedness and utility.
Inside is a well-done truck interior. You have nice features like
an upgraded bench seat with detailed cloth inserts. And both the
dash pad and door panels are done with detailed red stitching. You
have comfy features like power windows, the Delco Am/FM/cassette
stereo, and seat integrated cup holders. This was also built with
power locks and factory air conditioning (these will need servicing
and components to fully function again.) And the tilt steering
column is great to give you a clear view of the wraparound dash
panel.
While this generation Silverado was known for having proper V8
power, they never got anything as versatile as this. It's a
6.0-liter Vortec upgrade. These fuel-injected LS-based V8s are
known for their robustness and power. And the computer-controlled
setup makes it quite a consistent powerhouse. It's exactly what you
want in a truck that looks both powerful and upgraded. This has the
two-speed 4x4 transfer case and a front differential in place, and
so the only main component that needs to be added is the
driveshaft. More than just off-road, it's a solid all-around driver
with features like power steering, power brakes w/discs up front,
and a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly
overdrive. You even have dual fuel tanks.
Lifted, upgraded, powerful, and absolutely awesome - this is the
square-body vintage Chevy that gets a lot more attention than even
a brand new 4x4. Call today!!!
