This 1977 Chevrolet Corvette has been given solid investments in
the last few years that include an enhanced crate V8, a terrific
side pipe upgrade, and a comfy loaded leather interior. So it takes
all that you love about a great driving classic and turns it up a
notch...all for an affordable price.
The '77 car hits the sweet spot for many C3 Stingray fans. It's one
of the few years that combines the right styling elements. This
means the full color-matched bumper set (with a single-piece rear)
that also has the smooth flying buttress-style rear end deck. It
all shows quite well today because the factory-correct Corvette Tan
was resprayed a few years ago. There's a nice gloss that does a
good job of showing off the well-fitting panels, and the pinstripes
are a premium way to highlight the C3's awesome curvy fenders. But
while this has a quality classic look, you also know those side
pipes are going to give this one a terrific sports car growl,
too.
The Buckskin interior makes for quite a handsome color combo
against the exterior, and so you'll happily take the T-tops out to
share the full color package. It looks good when cruising, and in
fact, you'll find the right thoughtful details for a driver's car.
Some pieces are classic, like the high-back bucket seats finished
in leather. Others are upgrades, like the AM/FM radio with USB
input for proper driving music. There are more great features, like
power windows, newer door panels, a tilt/telescopic steering
column, and provisions for factory air conditioning (it has been
upgraded to R134a, but it will need servicing to blow cold again.)
You'll love the grip of the updated wood-rimmed sports steering
wheel, and these C3s were great at keeping you fully informed with
the large speedo and tach in front and a full auxiliary readout
package in the center.
Under the hood is proper small block V8 power. But this is a
younger and stronger 350 cubic-inch crate motor with, according to
the owner, approximately only 3,500 miles on it. It has the clean
look of a solid investment. Plus, you have performance upgrades
like the four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and
headers feeding into those rumbling side pipes. This coupe feels
solid out on the road, and you have a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and a
fully independent sports suspension for an all-around great driving
classic.
This C3 is distinct, powerful, comfortable, and done with all the
best details. So you know it belongs in your garage. Call now!
