Vehicle Description
1975 Chevrolet Corvette
It is hard to believe that what was originally introduced as
Chevrolets "halo vehicle" would leave such a huge mark in
automotive history. Introduced back in 1953 the Corvette was born.
It proved to be just what the market was looking for in a sports
car so much so that these cars are still being produced today now
in their 8th generation. They would later be referred to as
"America's Sports Car" and are one of the most identifiable
classics out there. When we reached the C3 era in 1968 the cars
were completely redesigned once again and there is no doubting why
they were given the Stingray name. This '75 is a nice original
stock car that currently resides with its 3rd owner who has had it
for the past 10 years. It has been very well maintained and is
always garage kept. Based on the numbers it was an early production
car for 1975 being the 1,464th car built in the first month of
production which was October of 1974. It was repainted in 2011 to
its original code correct Classic White exterior. The C3 was the
first generation to incorporate T-tops which were always a really
neat feature. They seal up well and are easy to remove so you can
go from a coupe to more of a convertible in seconds. This was an
era where chrome and stainless started to be left out of the design
but this one does still have its nice chrome rocker panels and a
rear luggage rack which is a very cool add on. The car sits on a
set of Chevrolet Rally wheels wrapped Cooper Cobra Radial G/T
tires.

Spinning those tires is the cars original L48 350V8 motor that runs
great with no smoking. It has a very stock look under the hood with
most components being Chevrolet Orange or Black. Even the underhood
insulation still looks good. The motor is paired with a 4 speed
manual transmission making it very fun to drive. All of the
suspension, power brakes, and other mechanical components are the
original system but the car has been well maintained and if it ever
needs anything it gets it done.
The interior is the factory correct Medium Saddle leather with
matching carpet and dash pad which is all in good condition. It has
dual bucket seats sitting to each side of the original center
console which houses the emergency brake and shifter. Everything
has a very stock look with all the stock gauges, radio, steering
wheel, etc and everything is working properly. In the rear area you
will find the standard Corvette storage compartments with 1 that
houses the Duralast Gold battery.
In addition to a very clean Corvette you will also get all of the
original owners manuals, repair manuals, and anything else
pertaining to the car. These Corvettes have proven their popularity
and have entire clubs dedicated solely to them. That goes to show
that they will continue to be popular for many many years to
come.
