1978 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe that has been repainted to more
mirror the pace car look, we are not representing it as such. This
was originally the silver on silver 25th anniversary car, and still
has the hood emblem for that. The paint shows its age in areas,
some stressing on the nose cone; see pictures. Paint is not
perfect. Powered by the 350 V8 that has been bored out to 355, that
is paired with a TH350 automatic transmission. Nicely equipped with
power steering, power brakes, power windows, and A/C. A/C
compressor turns on/off, did not blow cold. Originally oyster cloth
interior has since been redone to more of a two tone white/gray
cloth and vinyl bucket look. Power windows and wipers are
functional. Tilt and telescopic steering column, works as it should
also. Radio has been removed and replaced with a delete plate.
Odometer would be 109,661 miles as it turned over. Gauges are
working, except for the clock. Technicians did note that one of the
calipers stick and would need some attention; consignor elected to
sell as is.
