1951 Ford Custom Deluxe Convertible Street Rod finished in Red
paint. Paint shows very well overall, chrome and brightwork in nice
shape as well. The exterior has been kept stock looking, but it is
more than meets the eye. Powered by the 302 V8 that is paired with
a 3-speed automatic transmission. Nicely equipped with power
rack-and-pinion steering, power brakes (front disc brakes), and
Vintage A/C. A/C BLOWS COLD! Riding on Silvertown wide whitewall
radials with painted wheels and beauty rings. Borla Pro XS mufflers
have been added to generate a great sound. Silver vinyl bench seat
interior with seat belts front and back, dark gray carpeting
setting it apart. Modern dash setup with Autometer gauges while
keeping the speedometer stock. Wipers are functional! Power
convertible top works going up and down, does need some help to get
started. Power top switch is above the hood release pull to the
left of the steering wheel. Top is a LeBaron Bonnet cloth top,
black in color with red piping and plastic rear window. It was a
rotisserie restoration. The Auto Meter gauges are all working as is
the Vintage Air unit. There is Dynamat under the carpeting, front
and back. The 302 engine was completely rebuilt in 2010 by
Richard's Performance Machine in Wagoner, OK. Nice sounding
Ford!
