Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we wrap up our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Product manager Donald Frey and
engineer Paul Axelrad would probably be shocked at the current
market prices asked for the Ford Broncos that they helped create. A
quick look at Hemmings current listings for 1st generation Broncos
will list around 2 DOZEN examples for over $100K! That is indeed a
long way from its humble beginnings as a moderately priced
competitor for the Jeep CJ-5 and International Scout. Our
highly-desirable, first-year 1966 Ford Bronco looks fantastic in
its correct Caribbean Turquoise (B) livery, and that's only the
beginning of the story. Beneath the hood is Ford's venerable 351 V8
that's been fortified with an Edelbrock carburetor, an Edelbrock
Performer 351-W aluminum intake manifold, and headers. Additional
features include power front disc brakes, 3-speed manual
transmission with Hurst shifter (C), Aries nerf bars, roll bar,
custom wood wheel, auxiliary gauges, a JVC stereo, and Eagle alloy
wheels wearing aggressive 33x12.50R15LT tires. This is a very nice
example of the breed with good paint and body, OEM CarLite glass in
all windows except windshield, and an outstanding undercarriage
(please note condition of frame and pans in images). This beast
runs and drives beautifully, gets a LOT of thumbs-up, and feels as
if the 351 could sling mud into the next county! Another
collectible cruiser from the team that makes dreams a reality.
