This 1981 Jeep CJ7 has some unique style touches, and that works
quite well here, because it also has a unique story to tell. But
while you dig into those details, you'll also appreciate that it
also retains all your favorite pieces that keep the Jeep the
bedrock of 4x4 utility.
The paint theme is one you don't see too often. After all, there
are some bright yellow Jeeps out there but rarely do you also get a
bold blue hardtop. And while it's painted to taste, it's also
snugly and permanently affixed. The paint style is well-done with
the multi-blue Renegade decal kit looking distinct against the
yellow and harmonizing with the hardtop. It all gives this one a
more festive/tropical kind of style...maybe a bit South American.
So it really just seems fitting that this CJ was assembled in
Venezuela. Even with this unique history, you still have all the
right rugged features you want on a CJ, like steel bumpers, side
steps, a tow hitch, a full-size spare on a sing-away mount, and the
Renegade's fender flares.
The interior has a good look with good fundamentals like a clean
dash and a three-spoke steering wheel. The upholstery has an
interesting look where it has the classic Levi's stitching and
buttons to mimic the jeans, but it's done on more durable vinyl.
There are desirable features like a roll bar, front shoulder belts,
thick rubber floor mats, and a center console. You've also got some
cool little curiosities that help tell this Jeep's unique story,
like the foreign radio (for display) and speedometer in
Kilometers.
The engine bay has the fresh look of an extensive investment in
quality. Not only does that give you confidence in this CJ, but so
does the setup. Because while this is a unique Venezuelan Jeep, the
motor is the same hardy 258 cubic-inch inline-six we love in all
the other Jeeps. It fires up readily like a friend that's ready to
hit the trail. And the two-speed 4x4 transfer case and Pirelli
Scorpion tires are there to make sure you can enjoy the path you're
on. Plus, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a
three-speed automatic transmission are great anytime features.
Jeeps feel like true globe-trotting vehicles, and this one traveled
further than most to get here. So you get true 4x4 ability and a
great story to tell. Call today!!!
