This extended wheel base 1927 Ford Model T in Metallic Black is a head turner. The “Hemi T” with 200 miles on the build was modified from the ground up by Machinist and owner Dave Hughes.
Powered by the iconic 392 Cubic Inch Chrysler Hemi, the “T” performs as well as it looks. Daul Quad Edelbrock 500 cfm carburetors and an Offenhauser Hi-rise feed fuel from the Jaz Products Drag Race fuel Cell.
The engine boasts a Hughes Engineering Solid Lifter Cam to open Stainless steel valves allowing the big Hemi to exhaust through Sanderson Headers, while an MSD 6AL Ignition, light fires in all 8 cylinders.
Coupled to a McLeod Clutch and pressure plate, power is transmitted through the Chrysler A-833 four speed transmission, aluminum drive line and Ford 9” rear end to the 29 X 15.5 Mickey Thompson tires on Weld wheels.
