What a backstory! Travel with me back to 1967 central valley California, Stockton to be exact. My dad was 18 years old and a High School senior.. This was his gateway car purchase, which would become a lifelong love and hobby! He found it in a junk yard and paid $100 cash. He loved the hunt!
My dad kept a handwritten ledger of the parts and restorations that he purchased and completed including sewing and installing the upholstery himself.
Fast forward a several years to when I was a little girl exploring his office back warehouse. The Nash was 1 of 4 vintage cars taking up residence, but it was always my favorite. I was intrigued by the sleek curved lines and visions of the "mob" flashed through my head when I'd open the suicide doors. and take a peek inside.
Unfortunately, I never saw it run. I'm not sure why or what happened, but it was stored in the warehouse in Bakersfield, CA from the mid 70s until my dad passed away in 2017. We then trailered it to my garage in Bothell, WA where it has been for the last 4 years.
The body is in great shape and the interior upholstery is beautiful. We have the keys for the trunk, doors, and ignition.
It does not currently run, but it does roll and isn’t seized. I personally do not know enough about the mechanics to know why it doesn’t currently run.
The trailer is not included.
