Exterior Highlights:
The exterior of the car is flat out stunning, the onyx black paint is mirror finish and is on a body that is excellent. The black steel wheels and tires are excellent and are set off by the chrome Chevrolet center hub caps. The exterior hardware is complete and in very good shape. The vehicle is equipped with a tight fitting hard top only, that is in excellent shape and gives the car a totally different look. The rear window on the hard top is crystal clear. The exterior chrome parts including bumpers, door handles, and mirror are all in excellent shape. The windows on the car are clear and crack free. The lights on the car are excellent with nice bright lenses. This Corvette has the right stance and a color combination that can’t be beat, black and chrome go very well together. Interior Highlights:
The interior of the car is in great shape and what appears to be original condition as can be seen in the pictures. The beige vinyl seats are in great shape, one minor crack in the passenger side, as is the floor covering, dash, and door panels. The 4-Speed shifter sets adds to the sporty feel of this Corvette. Overall the interior is outstanding.
Mechanical Highlights:
Mechanically the car runs and drives great. The car is now powered by a 350 V8 motor with a period correct, and according to the previous owner vehicle correct fuel injection unit. We have no way of confirming this is a true factory fuel injected car but the ID plate on the fuel injection unit appears correct. The 7014800 Rochester fuel injection unit was originally fitted to 283 V8 which produced 250hp, this is a late production fuel injection unit which lines up well with the VIN number of the car, this is vehicle 5,600 of 6,339 produced. The vehicle is also equipped with a smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission which is also a late production option for the year. The engine compartment is very clean and set off by the fuel injection unit as it’s centerpiece. The car drives very well with the normal feel and response of a corvette.
