A seriously speedy machine with all the right thoughtful touches
and upgrades - that's what you get with this ultra-sleek 1965
Shelby Cobra Factory Five.
A Cobra is a true racing legend. Sure, the curvy silhouette came
from England, but Carroll Shelby was the one who took a lightweight
runabout and gave it true aggression with fat fenders and a mean
hood scoop. You really get to see that attitude thanks to the tight
fit of a quality Factory Five body. The dark blue paint has a high
gloss of quality, and that's essential for a terrific Cobra because
all those iconic curves really seem to pop when the sunlight evenly
rolls over the whole car. It's titled as a 2010 machine, and the
mileage on the motor is quite low, and so that's how you get such a
fresh-looking car. As a true track-ready roadster, there are the
right competition-inspired elements like the dual racing stripes,
jack bumpers, roll hoop, and menacing side pipes. And those LED
headlights know how to light the way forward better. Plus, those
Halibrand-style wheels look extra mean with the seriously meaty
rear rubber.
The interior has a great mix of vintage stay and race-ready
sensibilities. You get classic low-back bucket seats, and the
classic-style racing belts also have shoulder harnesses. The wood
and chrome steering wheel is a Cobra favorite. It's set in front of
a lightweight aluminum dash that's filled with all the right
AutoMeter Pro-Comp readouts, including a large speedo and tach. And
the blue and white shift knob is a great racing touch. And for
those few times you want more than the rumble of the dual exhaust
as your soundtrack, this also has an AM/FM/Cd stereo w/aux input in
the trunk.
The low odometer reflects the mileage since the asper crate 302
cubic-inch V8 was installed. In fact, the top end gaskets are even
newer with a replacement only about 1k miles ago. That's why the
whole package looks so fresh, and we know you love the look of the
proper Cobra valve covers. But more than just appearance, this is
built with all the right pieces, like an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock intake, MSD distributor, an aluminum radiator
w/electric fan. The motor fires up eagerly with a terrific rumble
out of those side pipes. Best of all, you're in complete control
over the soundtrack and the V8's fury with the five-speed manual
transmission. In fact, speaking of control, you also have great
features like four-wheel disc brakes, a limited-slip rear end,
coilovers, newer bushings, and tubular A-arms front.
Complete with build receipts and service manuals, this is the clean
and mean Cobra you've been waiting for. So don't let this deal slip
away. Call today!!!
